Pruno is a village in Versilia located close to Stazzema in the middle of our magical Apuan Alps. 

A few minutes from the beach here you can breathe peace and quiet because the village is completely immersed in the Regional Natural Park of the Apuan Alps with a breathtaking view of the peaks of Pania della Croce, Monte Forato, PRocinto and Monte Nona. 

Walking among the stone houses, the small old church and the 22-metre high bell tower you can breathe "magic". On the day of the summer solstice (June the 21st) this village gives us a chilling emotion: the hole of Monte Forato which is pierced by the suns' rays creating an incomparable spectacle. 

Furthermore, for those who love trekking, paths marked by CAI start from the village towards the pastures, refuges and peaks of the Alpuan Alps.
